A little bit about us,
We are 2 sisters in Troy who have been running a daycare out of our home since the summer of 2014.

We believe that children learn amazing things when they have the opportunity to play.
Play is where adults do not dictate.
Play is where ideas are owned by children.
Play is where failing is welcome.
Play is where problems and solutions are owned by children.
Play isn’t always happy: sometimes it’s frustrating, sometimes it’s super hard but in the end, it is always a great learning experience.
Child-led play is wonderful because you find something that interests your child and you follow their lead and help them build on that interest with activities. When your child leads, they are able to reach their full potential in mind, body, and spirit, and we strive to provide the individual attention an environment to reach that potential.
At Camp Curiosity, we will have some activities planned such as tie-dye, water balloons, paint wars, and an ultimate slip n slide but we will also provide an environment materials such as logs, rocks, mud, tarps, crates, sticks, planks, ropes and even water to play with. We will provide ingredients such as shaving cream, cornstarch, liquid watercolor, vinegar, tempera paint, water beads, sand, dish soap, and baking soda that children can use in whatever way they desire. There will be beads, cardboard, art supplies, fabric swatches, and all sorts of items to get creative with.
If a child has an idea, we will do our best to accommodate and find what they need for what they are working on as long as they are not hurting someone or something.
We look forward to meeting your children and seeing what they come up with at Camp Curiosity!
